TO YOU

A poem

Photo by Hanna Morris on Unsplash

Ding-dong,

That's what I felt

When your sing-song

Stung like a welt.

I can take care of you

Felt like a lie -

When I saw that you

Fell off like a tyre.

Like a beautiful flower

I belonged to your window,

When the tides rolled lower,

I was lost like a willow.

You think I don't love you?

Amuse yourself;

I am a liar- so to you,

I don't love others but myself.
