THE BED

Photo by Annie Spratt on Unsplash

Baby girl, when it is seven o’clock,
You should remember to take a walk.
Of what good is it that you sit
Laying on the bed all day without your teeth
That dentition, gracing a smile?
You should walk a mile
And let your blood flow
Into all parts; above and below.

This is what it looks like when I try to rhyme. Anyways, my message is not really about the rhyme scheme I used in creating this poem.
This is a message to my fellow comrades who sit in bed all day, especially days when you are free from work or whatever engagement you are usually involved with.
You should try to take a walk or evening strolls to help your mind relax and let your joints do a little exercise.
In the process of walking, you may get new ideas or your creative juices will come alive or be refreshed.
Use the extra time to check in on your friends and don’t just talk from behind the keyboard.
Go out, go shopping, get an ice cream or coffee and let the sun or evening breeze fondle with your hair and let it sooth you.
You only live once and the bed is just an escape route from reality.

Thanks for reading! 🤗😊🌅
