"I won’t leave you," he whispered into my ears as the glass fell from my hands.
I was numb as he peeled my clothes from my body and unfastened his belt.
"I love you, I always have," he said as he thrust into me, each thrust carving a hole in my soul.
The tick-tock of the wall clock battled the eerie silence in my head. I felt my consciousness slipping away as he moaned.
"You are so sweet," he said as his tongue slid into my ears, "damn, too sweet!"
'You'll pay for this!' I heard a menacing voice snarl in my head.
I felt a spasm and heard a growl in my throat. My fingers extended like claws and I felt my eye twitch while I became thirsty.
I didn't know how it happened but when I came to, he was sprawled naked on the floor in a pool of his own blood with his torso open and his intestines hanging awkwardly from my hand.
In shock, I turned to the mirror and a scrawny monster with spikes scattered all over her body stared back.
"Let's go," she said and I felt my legs move on their own accord.
