I was tagged by Kimberly J Fitzgerald in the ongoing JUST KEEP BREATHING CHALLENGE which was originally inspired(started) by Sheri Jacobs and here is my submission.
This is just a REMINDER that life will be difficult and out of control sometimes but the only control you have over it is in how you react to it or you just MANAGE IT LIKE THAT (MILT) Editi Effiong, so PLEASE JUST KEEP BREATHING. I will be making reference to the just concluded 2023 Presidential Election in Nigeria.

This was just a hit song
Until we woke up to our reality.
Some are mad, Many are roaming,
We been think say na joke.
After all the hype and struggle
Our youths and elder citizens
Put into voting for someone
The people will proudly call their choice,
The Politicians went behind our backs.
At our backs, these party people
Sat and selected amongst themselves
A candidate of their choice
And have pushed their choice down-
Our throats as the People's Choice.
The blood of our heroes past,
The tears and blood of the ENDSARS movement
Have all fallen again on deaf ears.
Who do we cry to? No one.
We will each breath and perserve.
Breath, one step at a time.
The Lord is thy stronghold Nigeria,
Breath and be bold;
Do not let your blood boil
On these City Boys.
