I agree even though I am yet to experience it.

I heard once, on a Twitter post, "When parents raise their children well, they are lenient with their grandchildren". The reason behind this statement is simply that grandparents wish to spoil their grandchildren with love as a form of making up for being excessively strict with their own children.
