Oh how you amaze me
With your glorious downpour
Each time it thrills me

With my arms spread out, you comfort me
And temporarily I forget I am poor

With your magnificent golden rays
I am awoken when you peep through my window to stare at me

When you set, you shadow me
And like a proud peacock, you gracefully portray your rays

You are with with your brilliant glow
Each time so breathtaking

As a mother surrounded by her children, you are watching
As a slit or full glare, your eyes aglow

This is a TROILET I wrote on 10th August, 2020. It has a wonderful rhyme scheme but I chose to make the poem an open verse.
